Hi, I'm Stan. In 1999 I ran one of the biggest sites on GeoCities - webrings, guestbooks, a hit counter that once hit four digits. Then Y2K happened, and… well, it's a long story, and honestly I tell it different every time. Point is I got frozen, and I only just thawed out. Everything's changed and nobody will explain it properly, so I'm writing it down as I figure it out.
